Position Summary

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction operations across assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, company standards, and client expectations. The Project Supervisor serves as the primary field leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and project activities.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Supervise and coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.

·         Plan, organize, and oversee daily construction activities.

·         Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and project documents.

·         Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material requirements.

·         Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.

·         Conduct daily jobsite inspections and identify corrective actions when needed.

·         Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

·         Lead daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.

·         Track project progress and communicate updates to management.

·         Identify and resolve field issues, delays, and conflicts.

·         Maintain daily reports, timesheets, inspection logs, and project documentation.

·         Coordinate with clients, inspectors, engineers, and project stakeholders.

·         Assist with project budgeting, cost control, and resource management.

·         Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, and final inspections.

·         Ensure jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·         Minimum 3-5 years of construction supervision or project leadership experience.

·         Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction practices.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

·         Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·         Proficiency with construction documentation and reporting.

·         OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

·         Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

·         Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of    employment.

·         Must successfully complete and pass a criminal background check following a conditional offer of employment and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

·         Must be authorized to work in the United States.

 

 

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to walk, stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

·         Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

·         Ability to safely navigate active construction sites.
