Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating & Air is looking for Permit Coordinator in the greater Sacramento area. We have been in business for almost 40+ years and are one of the area's best and largest home services companies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and submit permit application packages to municipalities and agencies to obtain regulatory permits/licenses. Monitor the status of permit applications and all phases of the permitting process to project completion and issuance of a permit. Enter all relevant permit information into operating software (Service Titan). Review and maintain permit reports generated through Service Titan. Communicate with customers, internal departments, technicians and external agencies to assure that building permits are obtained in a timely manner. Ensure that all phases of the permit process are thoroughly documented and tracked to project completion and building permit sign-off. Schedule inspections and coordinate final inspections. Ensure compliance with company safety policies. Work overtime when necessary during high volume periods. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business. Qualifications Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of building permit scheduling. Ability to learn the different requirements of building departments in numerous jurisdictions. Effective time management skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and peers, both written and verbally Computer proficiency with strong excel skills. Ability to work in a fast paced and results driven environment. Ability to read, communicate, and understand the English language. Ability to meet all Company safety requirements. Education, Experience, Certification, and Training Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience. Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record Location, Physical Requirements, and PPE Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 25 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle. Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.
