All Production employees are expected to perform a variety of task on the assembly lines to achieve finished products.  The position consist of evolving work demands and ability to manage your workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Time Management: Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Assists with the preparation of the cook room prior to the day’s scheduled production runs; checks scales, tray sealers, temperatures, and dicers (dependent on the position assigned to for the day).
  • Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Reports equipment or other issues to management to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Functions as a team member, often requiring leadership abilities.
  • Completes/Assists with the packing of products.
  • Ensures that equipment is properly set up and that all other make-ready functions are carried out prior to the start of production
  • Handling the raw materials.
  • Packaging the final product.
  • Attention to production safety, to product detail and quality.
  • maintaining a sanitation focus and efficiency.
  • Working the production line or area to ensure production schedules are met and company standards and procedures are strictly followed
  • Ensures that equipment is properly set up and that all other make-ready functions are carried out prior to the start of production.
  • Understanding basic concepts of food borne illness
  • Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to; washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, measuring, and pouring ingredients in container, placing lids, labeling, boxing, un-boxing, stacking, wrapping or other function to accomplish tasks
  • Employees must follow company policies
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 50 pounds
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (hair net, cutting gloves, work sleeves, smock, and non-slip water resistant footwear)

  • Stand, walk and move rapidly for extended periods of time.
  • Bend, stoop, balance, crouch, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, perform repetitive movement, and reach frequently.
