All Production employees are expected to perform a variety of task on the assembly lines to achieve finished products. The position consist of evolving work demands and ability to manage your workload.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Time Management: Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Assists with the preparation of the cook room prior to the day’s scheduled production runs; checks scales, tray sealers, temperatures, and dicers (dependent on the position assigned to for the day).
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Reports equipment or other issues to management to ensure a safe work environment.
- Functions as a team member, often requiring leadership abilities.
- Completes/Assists with the packing of products.
- Ensures that equipment is properly set up and that all other make-ready functions are carried out prior to the start of production
- Handling the raw materials.
- Packaging the final product.
- Attention to production safety, to product detail and quality.
- maintaining a sanitation focus and efficiency.
- Working the production line or area to ensure production schedules are met and company standards and procedures are strictly followed
- Ensures that equipment is properly set up and that all other make-ready functions are carried out prior to the start of production.
- Understanding basic concepts of food borne illness
- Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to; washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, measuring, and pouring ingredients in container, placing lids, labeling, boxing, un-boxing, stacking, wrapping or other function to accomplish tasks
- Employees must follow company policies
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

- Frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 50 pounds
- Must wear personal protective equipment (hair net, cutting gloves, work sleeves, smock, and non-slip water resistant footwear)

- Stand, walk and move rapidly for extended periods of time.
- Bend, stoop, balance, crouch, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, perform repetitive movement, and reach frequently.
