As a member of the senior leadership team, own the annual strategic planning cycle -- including guiding progress review and reflection based on current year results, goal setting, and driving the scope and sequence of the budgeting process for input and approval from all necessary internal stakeholders ● In conjunction with the CEO, develop the overall charge and priorities for the statewide board -- including growing and diversifying the board, strengthening and stewarding current board leadership, and serving as key staff liaison for all functional areas led by STO role Development ● (if Director) Support the CEO in setting fundraising strategy through research and data analysis. (if Managing Director) Work with the CEO and development team to set the overall fundraising vision and strategy ● Ensure strong execution of operational plans such that the organization maximizes opportunities, meets its goals, and significantly grows statewide and regional funding while building long-term sustainability ● Develop systems and practices for tight integration of development and finance, as well as for robust coordination between statewide and cluster teams around development strategy and execution Finance ● In conjunction with the finance team, CEO, and board, update and maintain GO's long-term strategic plan and overall financial model in service of its long-term growth strategy ● Oversee the fiscal management of the organization, including the budgeting and audit process ● (if Director) Maintain GO's financial planning tools to allow for robust forecasting, scenario planning and real-time decision making, that keeps pace with GO's growth plans (if Managing DIrector) Adapt GO’s financial tools to keep pace with GO’s growth plans ● Support the board and CEO in updating and/or developing financial policies
