Elk Grove Unified School District

The Elk Grove Unified School District is the 4th largest and 2nd-most diverse school district in California.  Spanning over 320 square miles of Saramento County, EGUSD serves many dynamic communities in the cities of Elk Grove,  Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, including regions such as Florin, Franklin, Laguna Creek, Laguna West, Rancho Murieta, Sheldon, Sloughhouse, Valley Hi, Vineyard,  and Wilton.  The district is proud to serve over 63,000 students of whom: 13 percent are African American,  36 percent are Asian American, 28 percent are Hispanic or Latino, 2 percent are Pacific Islander, 21 percent are White.  EGUSD's multi-ethnic and multilingual students speak over 100 different languages and dialects. The district has a growing population of multi-racial students and supports over 60% of students in the local Miwok/Nisenan tribes.

EGUSD will operate 69 schools in the 26-27 school year including 44 elementary, 9 middle, 9 high , 4 alternative education schools, a K-8 virtual academy, special education site, and adult education program.  The district offers a variety of positions in many different industrial fields across many departments that support the operations and functions as the 4th largest district in California. EGUSD focuses on meeting the needs of each child through programs encompassing academic excellence, targeted supports, wellness and family engagment to ensure ALL students are college, career, and life-ready graduates.
