SBM Site Services is hiring an   Accounts Receivable Technician   at our corporate headquarters in Sacramento, CA.  The Accounts Receivable Technician is responsible for preparing and distributing customer billing, following up with customers to ensure timely payments and preparing multi-jurisdiction Sales-Tax returns.  Responsibilities Review customer contracts and extract critical information related to billing Research and understand sales and use tax laws in multiple states and apply that knowledge to customer billing Process all billing transactions accurately and efficiently to meet expected deadlines Interact with customers and employees to research and resolve disputes Issue billing adjustments Contact customers in a professional manner via telephone and/or email to resolve past due accounts Determine what accounts needs to be escalated to managers for resolution Maintain a log of all contact and planned resolution for delinquent accounts and provide a weekly detailed report to Management Reconcile customer invoices and payments as needed Assists with related special projects as required Prepare accurate monthly sales/use tax returns ensuring compliance JOB REQUIREMENTS Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Adobe; experience with JD Edwards Oracle and Vertex Tax System applications a plus Knowledge and understanding of multi-jurisdictional sales/use tax is required Available Shift:  Full Time Compensation:  Depends on experience

SBM Management is currently looking to hire a   Product Manager   to join their team!  The Product Manager is a crucial position on the Agile SCRUM team and plays a key role in the success of the SBMinsite product. The Product Manager works closely with the development team, key stakeholders and directly with customers to understand the market needs. This person is responsible for conveying the market needs to the SCRUM team in the form of user stories. The Product Manager is also responsible for prioritizing the backlog based on business value and serving as the point person for the developers and QA members on the SCRUM team. The Product Manager participates in standard SCRUM ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. The Product Manager is responsible for signing off on features to ensure they meet the agreed upon acceptance criteria and overall market need. Responsibilities Provides strategy and direction for the product Organizes and prioritizes product backlog Business interface on requirements and status Decides on release date for completed functionality Responsible for the profitability of the product (ROI) Involved daily in the sprint to provide clarifications Accepts or rejects work result throughout the sprint Presents scrum team accomplishments at sprint review Supervisory Responsibilities                                                       No direct supervisory responsibility. Specific projects may require interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and appraising performance. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry certifications strongly preferred.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a detailed knowledge of the Agile framework and Scrum, Product Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. May be required to have a valid driver’s license and meet SBM Driver Approval requirements. Able to manage executive expectations and say no when appropriate.  Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching and training skills.  Ability and experience working in a fast paced environment.  Disciplined in source control and application versioning and must understand branching and merging methodologies.
