The Truss Company has been continuously growing to serve the west coast for over 30 years. We are currently located in 3 states - Washington, Oregon, and California. We are expanding into the Nevada market where we will be opening a facility in Reno. We are using the latest software and equipment available to produce competitively priced products for our customers. 

History

The Truss Company was created in October 1985 when we purchased the truss division from the former St. Regis distribution facility in Tacoma, WA. We relocated to Sumner, WA in 1995 and currently employ approximately 400 employees, which are distributed among eight state-of-the-art facilities.

Overview

The Truss Company is a leading manufacturer of engineered wood roof and floor trusses, selling primarily to professional contractors in the residential and commercial construction field. The Company operates eight manufacturing facilities, five in Washington, two in Oregon and Sacramento, CA.

The company develops long-term relationships with its customers by providing them with high quality products and service at a competitive price. The Company's products, include metal plate connected wood roof and floor trusses. These products are sold by experienced professionals consisting both field sales personnel and facility based sales and support personnel. Additional sales are generated through cooperative agreements with select building material suppliers in certain markets.

The Company offers its customers various services, including assistance with project design, coordination of delivery, provision of credit to pre-approved contractors and on-site installation troubleshooting.

The Truss Company has committed to purchasing the most up-to-date technology in its manufacturing equipment. We utilize the Mitek Sapphire Suite for job management, truss layouts, engineered drawings, and production scheduling. This system allows for a complete truss placement and load analysis while generating cutting and jigging instructions for MiTek's Cyber Components saws. This saw contains an innovative computer program, allowing us to download cutting information directly from engineering for fast robotic set-up. It also provides automated jigging and laser projected images for our Planx and Wizard Tables. All this means greater accuracy, quality control, and efficiencies allowing the company to meet our customer demands and deadlines.

Job site delivery is provided by one of The Truss Company's various trucks, we have several types to better suite the needs of different job sites. We continue to update our fleet to maintain the highest delivery service in the industry.
