Under general supervision of a Payroll Officer, the incumbent is responsible for auditing and processing Position Control documentation on a statewide basis, which must follow established State and Federal laws, rules, policies, and procedures. Incumbents are assigned progressively more complex and difficult duties as they gain experience and training.
Duties Performed: (Candidates must perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodations.)
Audit and process position control documents that include the establishment of one-time and out-of-state headers. Audit, and batch documents to add, change or delete positions from the position control system. Identify position salaries submitted over the maximum allowed salary by the Department of Finance. Generate the monthly position roster report. Provide direct assistance to Human Resource offices, Executive Office, PPSD Legislative Liaison and Statewide Customer Contact Center on a variety of inquiries....
