The Human Services Division of the Health & Human Services Department has two current vacancies for the position of Senior Eligibility Specialist in the South Placer and North Lake Tahoe area.  This position assists in the administration of the Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKs, and General Relief programs. The responsibilities of this position include reviewing casework for quality assurance, preparing reports, and providing feedback to ensure casework is completed in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner. Duties may include supporting the training of staff who are transitioning from induction training to more independent casework. The Senior position assists supervisors in evaluating staff performance and provides first-line support to staff, applying expertise in county processes and program regulations while also handling escalated and confidential cases.
