SMUD's Power Operations group is looking for a passionate, driven, and qualified Electrical Engineering student to join their team.   Under staff direction, the Power Operations Engineering Intern will: Assist engineering staff in providing support to grid operators in tasks related to real-time engineering and Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM). Assist engineering staff in tasks related to performing operational planning studies. Support staff in updating operating procedures, operational tools and compliance documents etc. Provide support in building analytical tools to perform Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) results analysis.
