With supervision provided by a Supervisor I in the Settlement Unit of the Support Services Bureau, the Analyst I will, with increasing independence, conduct technical and analytical review of unclaimed property claims to ensure information meets standards of policies, procedures, and processes. The incumbent works closely with a small group of analysts to ensure assignments are completed within established timeframes.   The incumbent must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Excel application and have the ability to reconcile discrepancies in data and information pertaining to program activities.   The incumbent will need to be knowledgeable of Unclaimed Property Law, Government Code, Probate Code, Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure, California Code of Regulations, and the Unclaimed Property Standard Operating Procedures.
