The Code Enforcement Manager class is the first level management class within the Code Enforcement Officer series. Classes in this series verify compliance with and enforcement of State and local codes pertaining to nuisance abatement; blight control; housing, zoning and vehicle violations; and other hazardous conditions. The Code Enforcement Manager class oversees the staff involved with code enforcement and works closely with representatives of elected officials, public safety and health departments at the local and state level. This class requires a high degree of professional skill and knowledge in administering and evaluating code enforcement programs and assignments. Minimum Qualifications Either: 1a.
