This is a 12-month limited term position with the possibility of being extended or being made permanent.
Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager III, Contract Officer, the incumbent will perform the more complex duties associated with contract services for the department. Serve as an independent consultant and principal staff supporting all contracting issues for Information Technology (IT) and Non-IT Service Contracts. Duties Performed: (Candidates must perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodations.)
Develop and prepare a diverse workload of highly technical and complex contractual agreements.
Provide contract consultation services to departmental staff at all levels. Participate in teams and work groups. Mentor staff. Provide subject matter expertise that requires difficult and complex program development, policy, or coordinating planning.
