Under the general direction of the Manager I in the Consumer Services Bureau, the Supervisor I is responsible for managing, planning, and directing the activities of a Claims Evaluation Unit. This unit evaluates claims for unclaimed property, makes accurate ownership determinations pursuant to relevant laws and regulations, performs quality assurance of claims activity, oversees studies and analysis conducted to improve procedural and program efficiencies, compiles and evaluates data to identify and anticipate workload trends, and determines training needs. The Supervisor I is the first-level working supervisor and supervises a group of professional and technical staff. Duties Performed:
