CDI is looking for actuaries with strong backgrounds in Property & Casualty insurance, regulatory compliance, and modeling. These roles offer the opportunity to lead complex actuarial work and shape insurance regulation in California.
We're hiring at both the Actuary and Actuary Senior levels.
As part of our team, you will:
▶️ Review rate filings, predictive models, and underwriting methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
▶️ Advise on advanced ratemaking issues and modeling techniques, including GLMs, catastrophe models, machine learning applications, and other analytical methods.
▶️ Contribute to policy development, support cross-branch regulatory initiatives, and, at the senior level, mentor actuarial staff.
📍 These positions offer telework and can be headquartered from our Los Angeles, Oakland, or Sacramento offices.
