The Energy Efficiency Branch oversees a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, utility engineers, and consultants to ensure that regulated utility and third-party energy efficiency portfolios provide verifiable reductions in energy usage at a reasonable cost to customers. The energy efficiency program administrators regulated by the Commission include investor owned electric and gas utilities, networks of local governments (Regional Energy Networks), and Community Choice Aggregators. This branch includes the Emerging Trends Section, Evaluation Analytics Section, Planning and Forecasting Section, and the Procurement and Portfolio management section.
