This position is responsible for the creation of new Hypersonix customers. This position is responsible for establishing positive relationships with potential customers to achieve sales targets for the company’s software products and services. The job includes active sales prospecting/hunting, lead cultivation, qualifying prospective new clients, arranging for software demonstrations to validate our fit, and coordinating with other experts on the team including product specialists, and management to win business. This position is predominantly defined as an inside sales position, and the candidates will help Hypersonix to grow our business and expand market share especially with Medium and Large sized Business (SMB) in our defined industry segments including retail, restaurants, eCommerce and hospitality. Responsibilities Include: Active prospecting and qualification to new business opportunities Execute tactical annual client or potential sales account plans in order to achieve sales and customer relationship targets for sales as directed by a VP of sales. Establish and maintain high level of positive and effective contact with key customers to enhance opportunities for new and continuing business development with key accounts. Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems within assigned customer base, recognize trends that develop, and make appropriate recommendations. Maintain accurate customer sales records, forecasts, expense plans, budgets and related databases. Create or review sales proposals, ROIs, professional services estimates and invoice review. Work closely with and maintain good working relationships with areas such as Development and Finance to ensure both customer & company requirements are met or exceeded. Preferred Candidate Attributes: Successful sales experience in the retail, restaurant, hospitality and other commerce segments. Successful previous track record with similar software / SaaS organizations. Highly motivated and tenacious in the pursuit of targeted clients. Must be a successful self-contributor capable of leading strategic sales opportunities. Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required 4+ years related sales experience in software industry.
