Response Structural Engineers (RSE) is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Sacramento team. We are a full-service structural engineering firm providing practical, safe, and economical solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects, along with specialized work in equipment anchorage, seismic bracing, specialty ceilings, and telecommunications. This position offers exposure to a diverse range of projects—from custom homes and commercial renovations to educational and medical facilities, unique architectural features, and equipment installations. Our work includes projects under DSA and healthcare agency jurisdiction, providing opportunities to develop experience with specialized structural requirements. You will prepare structural calculations, drawings, and details; coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants; and support projects through permitting and construction.
