We are looking for motivated individuals ready to rise to the challenge of a difficult yet rewarding career in law enforcement. Basic requirements are 20 years old or above to apply, a high school diploma or GED, a valid California driver’s license, and no felony convictions.
If you can pass our physical abilities test and written exam, as well as an approximately six-month-long background investigation, you are guaranteed a position as a police officer trainee. Once you complete the police academy, you will be sworn in as a police officer with the Stockton Police Department.
