The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.
Salary and Benefits
Starting Salary: $28.45 hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $36.34
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, vision, and TSA options
Benefit allowance: Up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, $2,044.58/family (medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options available.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of an administrator and as part of a case management team, provides transition services for paroled, probation, or incarcerated individuals; provides recordkeeping, instructional assistance, and interaction and communication with clients, staff, parole agents, probation officers, and other agencies.
Qualifications
Any combination of training and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described; a typical qualifying background would include coursework in Social Sciences, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field; previous experience instructing and/or facilitating groups of youth and/or adults; experience working with persons in reentry programs and/or the criminal justice system.
