Accounting Technician - Limited Term

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support a wide range of financial operations for a limited term position.

Salary: $28.45 per hour - Benefits are not included for this limited term position.

The Accounting Technician position supports a variety of financial functions, including reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, budget monitoring, and financial record maintenance. This role is responsible for auditing financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to district policies, regulations, and budget requirements. The position also provides technical support and guidance to internal and external clients, assisting with accounting procedures, reporting, and problem resolution. Successful candidates will have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
