The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.

Salary and Benefits

Starting Salary: $27.75 per hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $35.47 per hour.

Benefits allowance: Up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, or $2,044.58/family (medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options available.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance of Sacramento County
Office of Education (SCOE) landscape and grounds; maintains and performs minor repairs to grounds
maintenance equipment; performs related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities as described; specialized knowledge and work experience in landscaping and horticultural techniques.
