The Energy Cost of Service & Natural Gas (ECOSNG) Branch within the Public Advocates Office at the Public Utilities Commission (Commission) is seeking a Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst (PURA) I to join its Revenue Requirements team.
Under the supervision of the Program and Project Supervisor of the Revenue Requirements Section, the incumbent is responsible for representing ratepayer interests on issues pertaining to the appropriate revenue requirement and rates associated with Commission-regulated gas and electric utilities in General Rate Cases and other rate setting cases. The incumbent’s primary assignments are analyzing utility proposals, examining utility accounting practices and recorded costs, forecasting data, and making appropriate recommendations.
