Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Administrator I Supervisor, the incumbent is expected to understand and utilize the laws of the State of California, governmental accounting principles, and procedures prescribed by the State Controller's Office and/or the federal Office of Management and Budget. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and approving county cost plans for counties that operate a minimal number of central support departments. This position may involve travel up to 30 percent.
