Under direction, supervise, direct and occasionally perform the construction inspection of new County buildings and building repairs and alterations; or public works projects, including roads, bridges, drainage structures, site improvements, waste water treatment plants, water distribution systems and street lighting facilities, parks, public buildings; or residential and commercial development to ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, ordinances, standards, plans, and specifications; and to do related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications Either: 1. Two years of full-time work experience in the class of either Building Inspector II (Range B) or Senior Construction Inspector or higher in Sacramento County service or performing equivalent duties in another public jurisdiction.
