Under direction, the Senior Health Program Coordinator supervises, assigns, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for contracted and/or county operated health programs and services, including but not limited to staff supervision, program development and implementation, program monitoring and evaluation, and coordination of services; ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and performs the most technical and complex tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility. Positions in this series are involved in the operation, maintenance and repair activities of domestic water treatment systems and drainage pumping facilities and serve as a shift operator for a T-5 classified water treatment facility, as defined by California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
