Human Services Program Planner

Job Description

Under direction, the Human Services Program Planner performs analytical, evaluative, coordinative and/or conceptual staff work in the development, monitoring, research, planning, evaluation, and/or administration of multi-faceted human services programs; and conducts community outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

Six years of full-time experience performing professional or supervisory human services program experience performing analytical, evaluative, coordinative and/or conceptual staff work in the planning, development and/or administration of human services programs.

Note: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, public health, health sciences, public administration, business administration, or a similar field may substitute for up to four years of the required experience on the basis that one (1) year of experience is equal to 30 semester units (45 quarter units). The educational requirement is considered to require a minimum of 120 semester units (180 quarter units).

Note: A master’s degree in the above educational fields may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
