Under direction, the Supervising Child Support Officer supervises, assigns, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for a variety of tasks involving case establishment, collections, and distribution of child support within the Department of Child Support Services.
Minimum Qualifications Either: 1. One year of full-time paid experience as a leadworker, conducting child support establishment and/or enforcement activities in a county child support office. Or: 2. Two years of full-time, paid experience in a county child support office conducting child support establishment and/or enforcement activities at a level equivalent to the County of Sacramento class of Child Support Officer at the full journey level. Or: 3. Two years of full-time, paid collections work, including skip tracing and interviewing debtors with a company or agency not using a collection agency including one year as a lead worker.
