Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II and utilizing knowledge of the laws of the State of California, fiscal accounting rules and regulations contained in the State Administrative Manual, the Uniform Codes Manual, governmental accounting principles, and procedures prescribed by the State Controller’s Office, the incumbent provides leadership and plans, directs, and evaluates the work of professional staff engaged in the administration of local apportionment payments. The incumbent is required to maintain consistent regular attendance and perform the full range of duties including, but not limited to, the following:
