SMUD's IT Infrastructure Platform Services (IPS) department is looking for a year-round intern. The intern will provide cross-functional support within IPS by conducting analytical and research-based tasks aligned with relevant initiatives like disaster recovery, cloud technologies, and process improvement  The intern in this position will complete projects and tasks including, but not limited to:  Do analysis, problem solving and conduct research on emerging technology trends  Support the validation and documentation of key systems and applications requiring Disaster Recovery (DR) planning.  Conduct reviews of Disaster Recovery Plans to identify outdated content or missing information as well as assist in validation of DR plans.  Assist in organizing and coordinating logistics for tabletop exercises and DR simulations.  Monitor progress and ensure follow-up on action items related to DR initiatives....
