JOB PURPOSE The role of the Level One Operations Technician is to engage in vessel operations per the  superintendent’s instruction. Level One Techs are relied upon for their skills in operating all  equipment related to the cleaning of vessel cargo holds, as well as basic operations of some  heavy machinery onboard. Level One Techs are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean work  space, and engaging in the company’s safety program for all operations. JOB DUTIES • All necessary labor related to cleaning cargo holds, including but not limited to  mobilization, loading, setup of machinery, and physically cleaning holds • Certification and operation of aerial lifts per in-house certification program • Operation of high pressure washing equipment used to clean cargo holds • Certification and operation of front-end loaders used during cargo discharge per inhouse certification program • Manual cleaning of cargo holds and adjacent spaces with hand tools including but not  limited to...
