**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic **Field Construction Engineer** for a travel opportunity within the U.S.
_This position is based out of Seattle, but_ **_there is no requirement to live in Seattle._** _Consideration will be given for all other AECOM locations such as Portland, Sacramento, Denver, Houston, Chicago, Richmond, Boston, Orlando, or_ **_any city_** **_with proximity to a major airport._**
The successful candidate for the **Field Construction Engineer** role will support and participate in a building accessibility assessment program.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Perform ABA Accessibility investigations throughout the United States
+ Develop and prepare elementary 2D AutoCAD plans and elevations
+ Prepare independent cost estimates
+ Develop accessibility survey reports
+ Develop work scopes
+ Provide construction management support such as bid solicitation and reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders
**Qualifications**
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Valid driver’s license is required
+ Ability to travel across the U.S. as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering
+ 4 years of experience within construction, inspection, or engineering preferred
+ Design and AutoCAD experience, formal training or OJT
+ Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be able to work closely with and collaborate with a small team
+ Thorough knowledge of construction and/or engineering principles, practices, and procedures, applicable laws, and relevant government regulations
+ Safe and acceptable driving record

+ Travel is required for this position.
It is essential that the applicant be willing to travel to a variety of locations throughout the United States, that the applicant has a safe driving record and that the applicant is to adhere to, and maintain a responsible travel schedule when performing accessibility site investigations.
_Offered rate of compensation (Washington location only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,222.96-$75,000._
