**Job Description**
**AECOM** Environment Teamis seeking an experienced **Industrial Stormwater/Wastewater Scientist.** This is a remote based role.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Research, review, and analyze water quality policy and regulations.
+ Lead regulatory compliance tasks relating to stormwater and wastewater management.
+ Prepare and review Water Quality Management Plans, which communicate stormwater and wastewater regulations affecting the management of water sources at a facility.
+ Prepare and review Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
+ Review and assess compliance methodologies employed at a facility and provide feedback and creative solutions to reduce overall risk of non-compliance.
+ Mentor and supervise junior staff while managing tasks of varying sizes and complexity.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ B.S. Degree in Science or related plus 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ This role requires nationwide travel (50% of the time).
+ Valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong focus and attention to detail
+ 10 years of experience focused on water quality compliance.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that implement the Clean Water Act
+ Strong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills
+ Basic knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD software
+ Mentorship Experience
+ Experience consulting DOD clients
+ Knowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to environmental compliance.
**Additional Information**
+ Due to the nature of this role, U.S. Citizenship is required.
+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $120,000.00.
