Under direction, the Stormwater Utility Manager, supervises staff engaged in the repair and maintenance of storm water collection and distribution facilities primarily within the boundaries of the Stormwater Utility District in Sacramento County. These facilities include: channels, creeks, ditches, and other waterways; manholes, drain inlets, and underground pipelines; levees and detention basins; and drainage facility appurtenances and access roads.
Minimum Qualifications
Either: 1. One year in a Sacramento County class supervising airfield maintenance or highway maintenance activities
Or: 2. Two years of full-time experience in a journey level or above class in Sacramento County performing stormwater utility, highway maintenance, underground pipeline maintenance and repair, or airfield maintenance work.
Or: 3. Three years of full-time experience as a lead worker or supervisor over crews performing duties which have included (1) drainage maintenance, repair, or construction work, (2) underground pipeline maintenance, repair or construction work, or (3) related experience.
