Incumbent performs a variety of recurring, well-defined tasks requiring occasional innovative problem-solving within guidelines, supporting one or more units, functions, or processes across multiple domains with a focus on software application quality assurance (QA). The QA specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. This role involves reviewing requirements, developing test cases, performing manual an/or automated testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure issues are resolved. The specialist also supports regression testing, validates system integrations, and contributes to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards
