Responsibilities: 

· Participate in the formulation, improvement, management, and evaluation of the Administration's statewide fiscal plans, programs, and policies affecting or affected by the assignment area. 

· Represent and negotiate for the Department of Finance and the Administration within assignment area. 

·Participate in and direct the development of the Governor's legislative program in matters involving major fiscal policy 

· Review legislation with fiscal or programmatic impact on assignment area 

· Testify before the legislative committees 

· Inform staff of the administration’s goals, policies, and positions 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

CEA examinations are open to all applicants who possess the knowledge and abilities, and any other requirements as described in the examination bulletin. Eligibility to take a CEA examination does not require current permanent status in civil service.

Further, this SOQ must discuss your ability to perform the duties of this position. Statements must be prepared in narrative format typed to facilitate easy reading and not exceed three pages in length with a font size no smaller than 11 point. Resumes do not take the place of the SOQ.
