The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.
Salary and Benefits
Starting Salary: $36.48 per hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $46.63 per hour.
Benefits allowance: Up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, or $2,044.58/family (medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options available.
Job Summary
Under general direction, performs complex procurement functions in compliance with state and federal laws, bid limits, and board policies, in order to purchase and expedite a variety of materials, supplies, services, and equipment for the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE); performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the completion of two years of college with coursework in business administration, procurement, accounting, or related field; progressively responsible experience in the purchasing or procurement areas of a large public or private agency, preferably in education.
