The Sacramento County Office of Education is seeking a knowledgeable personnel analyst to support recruitment, classification, and credential functions.
This position performs a broad range of professional personnel functions supporting classification and compensation, recruitment and selection, personnel administration, and credential compliance. This position conducts job analyses, develops and maintains job classifications, supports recruitment and testing processes, interprets personnel policies, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. The position also serves as a resource to employees, administrators, school districts, and external agencies, promoting effective personnel practices and regulatory compliance.
Candidates should bring a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, preferably with specialization in public administration, personnel administration, business administration, or a related field. Additionally, they should possess experience in recruitment, selection, classification, or credentialing. Experience working in a personnel department in a school or government agency is highly desirable.
Salary: $114,945.96 per year (25/26)
Benefits: $1,023.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,698.58 for two-party, or $1,898.58 for family (includes medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options are available.
Location: Mather, CA 95655
Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
