We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope. + Prepare technical work plans and reports. + Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. + Plan, execute, analyze and report on environmental measures in natural systems. + Direct staff in the execution of tasks. + Review analytical data for general indicators of quality for routine analyses based on well-defined guidelines. + Coordination with task and project managers, working with on-site subcontractors and field staff, supporting sampling, data collection, and field documentation. + Provide technical expertise support. + Support and serve as technical lead on large-scale enterprise GIS programs + Create, manage, validate and maintain various types of GIS data, databases and services + Develop, deploy and manage web-based geospatial content, applications and systems + Provide consultation for geospatial strategic planning and resolution of issues, technical assistance and training + Automation of Geoprocessing tools using Python and familiarity with Microsoft.NET. + Understand of the fundamentals of Web GIS, Server, ArcGIS client interoperations + Perform QA/QC review of GIS data and compile metadata **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or other related discipline (e.g., geophysics, geochemistry, environmental geology, engineering geology) + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Valid U.S. Driver's License + Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's degree in geology, hydrogeology or other related discipline (e.g., geophysics, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental geology, engineering geology). + Professional registration or on track to obtain professional registration. + Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification + Experience in ArcGIS-Esri suite of software including ArcGIS Server, ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro, with specific experience programming those products using the Python API for ArcGIS Or ArcPy. + Understanding of relational databases and Geodatabase technology. + Technical knowledge of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal + Technical knowledge of ArcGIS Server architecture + Technical knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop products + Technical knowledge of geographic concepts, including coordinate systems/datums etc. + Knowledge of spatial data management, spatial analysis, and data visualization + Ability to travel for fieldwork and/or meetings. This position may require occasional travel within the United States. + Experience with developing conceptual site models, and preparing remediation strategies + Proficiency in standard office suite software applications. + OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire + Ability to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees. + Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner. Ability to learn through on-the-job experience. + Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and safely drive a full-size pickup truck. + Tolerance for work in outdoor environments in a range of weather conditions. **Additional Information:** + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
