**Job Summary** **AECOM** Design + Planning has an immediate opening for a **Mid-level Landscape Designer** with interest in restoration ecology and landscape architecture and design to work in our Sacramento office. We help clients reduce their impact on the environment, achieve compliance and reduce risks. **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Ecological Restoration or a related field. + Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with an emphasis on native plant landscaping and sustainable design, and ecological restoration. + Valid Driver's license is required for this role. + U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with both private and public sector projects is preferred, but not required. + Strong working knowledge of CA native plants ID, ecology and native plant requirements and preferences. + Excellent written communication skills, grammar, writing and report preparation capabilities. + Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, AutoCad, Acrobat. (InDesign or PhotoShop helpful as well). + Some experience preparing construction drawings and specs for restoration and design projects. + Ability to work with people in a cooperative environment, as an ambassador for the firm and our clients. + Capable of working on multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously. + Motivated, capable of working independently. **Additional Information:** + Relocation is not available for this position. + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
