**Job Summary**
**AECOM** is seeking an Air Quality Scientist/ Environmental Scientist to provide air quality compliance services to Department of Defense (DOD) clients.

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:**
* Research, review, and analyze air quality policies and regulations.
* Develop permit application packages and supporting documentation.
* Work with regulators for permit revisions and development.
* Prepare and review Air Quality Management Plans, which communicate all regulations affecting the management of air emission sources at a facility.
* Review and assess compliance methodologies employed at a facility and provide feedback and creative solutions to reduce overall risk of non-compliance.
* Mentor and supervise junior staff while managing tasks of varying sizes and complexity

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science
+ 6 years of experience focused on air quality compliance
+ Valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role
+ U.S Citizenship is required as candidates will be working on a Federal Contract
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that implement the Clean Air Act
+ 10+ years of air quality compliance experience
+ Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
+ Calculate air emissions according to scientific and regulatory standards
+ Strong focus and attention to detail
+ Strong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills
+ Mentorship Experience
+ Experience with APIMS and/or EESOH
+ Experience consulting DOD clients
+ Knowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to air quality compliance
**Additional Information:**
+ Relocation is not available for this position.
+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $145,000.
