**AECOM** is seeking a **Project Manager II/Strategic Planning Lead** to be based in **Sacramento Office** .
**Job Description:**
+ Accountable to the Initiation Lead for the timely delivery and quality of the Program Management Plan, the Strategic Planning Lead provides structured coaching and guidance to functional leads and work stream teams to lead the planning of the work of delivering the program. They help the program functional leads to engage with client staff and other affected stakeholders using prescribed tools, processes, and approaches.
+ The Strategic Planning Lead works closely with the relevant teams lead in the building of a robust program management plan and the tailoring of the associated processes and tools needed to support long-term program delivery.
+ Strategic Planning Lead works with the digital team to automate processes to enhance the flow of work around the various teams, using the information gathered from various workshops to update and produce plans, processes, and tools for use in the online program delivery system.
+ In follow-up or ongoing engagements, the Strategic Planning Lead guides updates to program management plans so that they remain current and relevant, and measures usage and utility using the maturity model.
+ The Strategic Planning Lead follows a cycle of coaching, workshops, and redrafts, facilitating collaboration between the program functional lead and the client’s team until the PgMP is completed and signed off (sequencing agreed drafting schedules are correct etc.).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field
