**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking an Issue Management Lead to be based in Sacramento, CA.
**Job Duties:**
+ Setting up and implementing project management processes, and tools
+ Scanning for emerging problems
+ Forensic scrutiny of reports outputs and escalation requests from other contractors or consultants
+ Ensuring that issue resolution is expedited fully and at pace
+ Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers, including the management oversight of risk related issues such as financial, reporting, IT security, safety, health and environment, employee security and project execution.
+ Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
+ Develops and executes company polices that affect operations.
+ Coordinates and develops geography and region risk management programs for project portfolio management as well as project execution.
+ Acts as the liaison to attorneys, operations and project teams.
+ Familiar with a variety of technical fields, concepts, practices and procedures.
+ Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Leads and directs the work of others.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ BA/BS + 10 years of demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
**Additional Information**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in the program management of public sector projects & programs
+ 10 years of post-graduate experience in project management
+ Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
+ Record of accomplishment in expediting solutions in infrastructure projects
+ Ability to analyze and inspire innovative approaches to fast emerging challenges
+ Registration as Professional Engineer or other recognized relevant professional attainment
