**AECOM** is seeking an **Operations Manager** to be based in **Sacramento, CA** .
+ Assists the Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) and Assistant Chief Operating Officer (ACOO) with the planning, development, and implementation of Program initiatives
+ Collaborates with executive team members to determine and prioritize Program strategies
+ Point of contact or gatekeeper between management and other stakeholders
+ Primary lead in the follow-up and closeout of action items escalated to leadership
+ Drafts and edits communication prior to executive sign-off and publication
+ Serves as a delegate and attends meetings on behalf of the DCOO when appropriate and as needed
+ Drafts and edits presentations for high-level meetings
+ Acts in the representation of the DCOO in outreach efforts toward staff
+ Provides oversight and direction to administrative support staff and ensures adequate support across the Program
+ Assists the DCOO with planning, coordinating, and keeping the content of meetings focused and ensuring objectives for each meeting are met
+ Monitors and controls budget, scope, deliverables, and resources for the Leadership task
+ Assists the COO on special projects and assignments as needed
+ Identifies project/program risks and issues and proposes mitigation tactics and strategies
+ Conducts analysis and implements holistic solutions to address complex problems and improve organizational effectiveness
+ Supports leadership in the oversight of contract deliverables to ensure timely delivery
+ Supports the evaluation of processes and procedures and identifies areas of improvement
+ BA/BS + none or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Strong experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
+ Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports
+ Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience
+ Experience managing multiple and changing demands, details, and deadlines
+ Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,222.96 - $129,912.47
