This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line. _This position is expected to begin February/March 2023 (flexible)._ **Job Overview:** The Entry-Level Environmental Engineer will support our Remediation team in our Sacramento, CA office. We are seeking motivated candidate who would like to develop and advance in a full-time environmental remediation career. The successful candidate will have a background in Environmental Engineering. Knowledge of environmental investigations and remediation is preferred. _Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:_ + Works within team environments to develop and execute project tasks such as field efforts and the development of technical documents. + Coordinates with multiple project managers in several office locations to conduct project tasks. + Develops project documents in conjunction with project team such as Health and Safety plans (HASPs), Workplans, and Sampling Summary Reports. + Completes field work in accordance with AECOM safety requirements and site-specific safety plans at project sites including site visits, environmental sampling, and oversight of subcontractors. + Tabulae, manage, and evaluate environmental data including soil, soil gas, and groundwater sample results under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Uses computer software (Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint) as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. + Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related + Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required + Valid U.S. Driver’s License **Preferred Qualifications:** + Candidate must be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. + Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects. + Positive attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. + Field work may be required including oversight of subcontractors. + Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams). + Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. **Additional Information** + Travel is required for this position. + Relocation is not offered for this position. + Sponsorship is not available for this position. + Candidates will be asked to submit to a Motor Vehicle Record screening upon hire. + All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
