**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Contract Administration Manager** to be based in **Sacramento, CA** .
**JOB SUMMARY:**
This individual will work on one of AECOM’s largest infrastructure programs and reports to the Prime Contract Manager for this program. The individual will be responsible for the lifecycle of subcontracts; including the: development, negotiation, correspondence, documentation, management, administration, oversight, and closeout. These responsibilities will be undertaken in conjunction with the applicable task lead(s) managing the tasks for which the subcontracts are executed. These responsibilities will also be carried out in coordination with the Corporate Subcontracts Group.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Assist task leads and subcontract staff with the interpretation of contract terms and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as well as state law and regulation interpretation.
+ Track, monitor, and report throughout the term of subcontracts.
+ Develop and maintain open communication and positive working relationships with internal staff, the client, and subcontractors.
+ Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports on subcontract activity.
+ ·Develops, negotiates, corresponds, documents, manages, administers, oversees, and closes out subcontracts.
+ Assists with negotiating subcontract terms from inception to close-out in accordance with relevant regulations, client requirements, and corporate processes.
+ Ensure small business goals are considered during subcontract management.
+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant corporate contractual procedures and practices.
+ Assist prime contract manager as needed.
+ Provides advice on and interpretation of contract/subcontract terms and contract/subcontract flow-down requirements.
+ Managing and administering contracts/subcontracts on public contracts.
+ Complying with tracking and reporting requirements for contracts/subcontracts.
+ Participating in procurement and outreach activities related to contracts/subcontracts.
+ Advising management on contract/subcontract requirements.
+ Advising management on federal, state, and regional/local agencies on contract/subcontract issues.
+ Interpret contract/subcontract language and clearly articulate contract/subcontract requirements
**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ BA/BS + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field with an emphasis on Contract Management or Government Contracting.
+ Minimum 10 years of relevant professional work experience
+ Experience working on federally funded public works transportation projects.
+ Familiarity with planning, environmental, engineering, and construction terminology.
+ Familiarity with the formation and administration of federal/state-funded contracts/subcontracts and federal/state regulations applicable to contracting.
