Under general supervision, the Storekeeper I leads and monitors the work of Stock Clerks while performing the same, and/or more difficult duties as those being led; ensures completion of tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures; communicates policies, procedures and job expectations; and provides training to staff.

Ability to
- Lead and train Stock Clerks and other staff performing duties related to storekeeping activities
- Plan, coordinate, distribute, and review the work of staff

Minimum Qualifications
Either: 1. Two years of full-time paid experience employed by the County of Sacramento in the class of Stock Clerk.
Or: 2. Two years of full-time paid experience performing the duties of a stock clerk involving receiving, recording, storing, and issuing a variety of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
Note: If the word “experience” is referenced in the minimum qualifications, it means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable. Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to meet the total experience requirements.
