Job Description
Help create welcoming, well-maintained school environments by caring for landscaped areas, athletic fields, irrigation systems, and outdoor spaces across the district. Senior Grounds Workers independently coordinate grounds needs, operate and maintain specialized equipment, and partner with site staff to keep campuses beautiful, functional, and ready for students and staff.
This position is ideal for experienced grounds professionals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and taking pride in creating school spaces where communities can thrive.

The Elk Grove Unified School District is the 4th largest and 2nd-most diverse school district in California. Spanning over 320 square miles of Saramento County, EGUSD serves many dynamic communities in the cities of Elk Grove, Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, including regions such as Florin, Franklin, Laguna Creek, Laguna West, Rancho Murieta, Sheldon, Sloughhouse, Valley Hi, Vineyard, and Wilton.
