Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what Candidates and employers ask SacJobs most. For anything else, call (916) 455-6677, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, or email support@sacjobs.com.

Is the SacJobs career fair free to attend?
Yes. Every SacJobs career fair is free for Candidates, and so is parking. Register ahead on the career fair registration page so your name is on the list. Space is limited.
Where are the career fairs held, and is there parking?
At the Scottish Rite Center, 6151 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95819, opposite the Sacramento State campus. Parking at the venue is free. SacRT’s Gold Line stops at University/65th Street, a short walk away.
What are the career fair hours?
The four quarterly career fairs run from 11 AM to 3 PM, and Early Access Pass holders enter at 10 AM. The Construction & Trades fairs are evening fairs, 4 PM to 7 PM. Every date and time is on the career fair calendar.
What should I bring to a career fair?
Several printed copies of your resume and clothes you would wear to an interview, because many employers interview on the spot. A free SacJobs account keeps your resume online so an employer can find it after the fair. The career fair tips page has the rest.
What is the Early Access Pass?
A $20 pass that lets you in at 10 AM, an hour before the doors open to everyone, while the lines are short. Early entry is free for veterans, seniors, attendees with disabilities, and SacJobs Plus and Pro members: tell the registration team when you arrive.
Are there workshops or career coaches at the fair?
Yes. Every career fair has two workshops and career coaches on site. The topic, time and price of each session are on the workshops page for that date.
How does my company get a booth?
Book online on the career fair booth page: pick the fair, choose a booth, and pay by card or ask for an invoice. No account is needed to book. Space is limited and the fairs fill up.
How do I post a job on SacJobs?
Make a free employer account, then choose a posting package, from a single post to unlimited posting for a year. Every posting goes on the board and reaches Candidates through job alerts and matching. Start on the employer services page.
Do I need an account to apply for jobs?
No. You can search and apply on sacjobs.com without one. A free account adds job alerts, a saved resume employers can find, your career fair registrations and the application tracker.
Does SacJobs have an office I can visit?
No. SacJobs works online and at its events, and mail goes to PO Box 162501, Sacramento, CA 95816. Call (916) 455-6677, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, or email support@sacjobs.com.
