The Sheriff's Office is recruiting for an Evidence Technician - Supervising vacancy.
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the Property and Evidence Unit while ensuring the secure receipt, storage, tracking, and disposition of evidence and property. The position oversees assigned staff, maintains compliance with chain-of-custody requirements and applicable laws, and performs a variety of specialized technical duties to support the Sheriff's Office and the criminal justice system.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a thorough understanding of evidence management practices and chain-of-custody procedures.
